Rob Sobel is a copywriter for Flight Centre Travel Group, the Americas, outside of New York City. He has a degree in English from James Madison University and an MFA in fiction from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His fiction has appeared in New York Tyrant, Lunch Ticket, The Magnolia Review, Cigale Literary, Pound of Flash, Gardy Loo, The Literary Itch, and he is a Glimmer Train Short Story Award for New Writers Finalist. His essay on his favorite novelist, Don DeLillo, “Don DeLillo’s Players: ‘Embodied in Objects’,” was published by The Don DeLillo Society. He loves baseball, going to the movies, jogging, and walking around New York City without a clear plan.
